Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using trust.you, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its tools. These terms apply to the guides, field notes, interactive tools, images and other material published on trust.you.
Educational scope
Content and tools provide general educational guidance and help organise a decision. They are not legal, financial, medical, cyber-forensic or emergency advice. They cannot authenticate a person, diagnose or clean a device, investigate a crime, recover funds or guarantee that a website, message, seller or transaction is safe.
Your decisions
You remain responsible for checking high-consequence actions with the relevant institution, authority or qualified professional. Conditions, services and laws differ by location and change over time. Do not act solely on a checklist result or treat a score as proof.
Browser tools
Tool entries are processed locally in the browser and are not submitted to trust.you. Outputs reflect only the information and selections provided in that browser session. A missing warning does not establish safety, and one warning does not prove fraud or misconduct.
Acceptable use
Do not use trust.you to target, threaten, harass, impersonate or publicly accuse another person. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, overload the site, or use automated access in a way that interferes with ordinary visitors or violates applicable law.
Editorial and automated production
First-party field notes and articles retrieved from the dedicated trust.you Docs Library are scheduled for publication three times per week within a rolling six-month queue. AI tools may assist drafting, code testing and original image production. The editorial desk remains responsible for publication decisions, review, corrections and stated limitations.
Ownership and permitted use
Unless a page states otherwise, trust.you owns or licenses the site's original text, design, code and artwork. You may access, link to and quote limited portions for lawful personal, educational or commentary purposes with clear attribution. These terms do not grant permission to republish substantial parts of the site, remove attribution or present trust.you material as your own.
Your entries
You retain any rights you have in text or URLs entered into a browser tool. Because those entries stay in the browser, trust.you does not receive or claim ownership of them. You are responsible for having the right to use any information you enter and for removing unnecessary personal or confidential details.
External sources and links
Links to agencies, standards bodies, platforms and other websites are provided for evidence or context. A link does not endorse every statement, service or privacy practice at the destination. External sites control their own availability and terms.
Browser notifications and advertising
trust.you may use an external provider to offer optional browser notifications and notification-supported advertising after a prior visit. Your browser controls the permission prompt and lets you deny, block or later revoke permission. The provider's availability, notification delivery and privacy practices are outside trust.you's direct control.
Sharing site material
You may use the site's share, copy and print controls for lawful personal, educational or commentary purposes. Review a copied summary or tool result before sending it, remove any detail you do not want to disclose and do not present a checklist result as proof about another person.
Availability and changes
We may correct, update, reschedule or withdraw content and tools, and we may change or discontinue site features. We aim for continuity but do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability or error-free operation.
No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, trust.you is provided on an as-available basis without a promise that its content is complete, current or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or warranty that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, trust.you and its publisher are not responsible for losses caused by relying on general guidance as a guarantee, by actions taken on an external website, or by service interruptions outside reasonable control. This does not limit responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms are reflected by the public review date. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply to later use. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@trust.you.
